E61 and Yamigo - 2006/05/20 19:46
Hi,
I try to get a connection to Yamigo since friday with my Nokia E61 (Symbian 60, Third Edition). There is an IMPS Chat integrated. It works with chatnu.dk and smartvas.com. But chatnu have no stavle connection to AOL and smartvas works only with MSN.
But i neet AOL Connection, and Yamigo seems to be the right IMPS Server. But i dont get the message " Connection to server failed, try again later" after one minute
Login, Password are correct, Webadress is http://yamigo.com/wv/control.
Any hints ? I read mostly, that User said, that Yamigo isnt reachable. But based on the Online user stats, there are many user, that have a connection.

I am experiencing the same problem, and I have no solution as of yet, so...well, I guess you can say that I commisserate. If anyone out there can offer up a solution that will help me get my E61 working with Yamigo I will be most grateful.

Me too! Will not connect using E61 on T-Mobile US. It just pauses a while saying "connecting to server yamigo" then gives the message "Unable to connect to service. Try again later."

Hi,
I used tcpwatch to analyse the traffic between the E61 and Yamigo and Smartvas. The problem seems to be realy at Yamigo. The XML Message send by the E61 to yamigo will be answered with WV__XML_SAX_PARSER_ERROR.
The same message to smartvas, will be replied correctly. Its look like, that the problem isn`t in the E61 and not the Mobile Carrier.
I dont understand, why users the register earlier works (see online user stats). I think, they use handies with older versions of the IMPS Protocol.
At the moment i dont see any chance to use the integrated Chat from Nokia.

I'm on Vodafone Romania and i have the same problem on my E61.
I need yahoo messenger tho....
If someone makes it work please enlight us
