Motorola V600 problem fixed.   PDF  Print  E-mail

When least expected Motorola developer support team replied to us with indications on how we can go around the connectivity problem we were facing.

The Motorola phone seems to expect in fact a default contact list if none is defined. Yamigo is creating nowadays a default contact list if none exists for the user. The contact list is called "Default". This is done however only for the Motorola phones. SonyEricsson and Nokia dont need this kind of, errr, hack.

Yet users are still reporsting stability problems. The phone disconnects after a few seconds after connection is established. We reported this issue with the Motorola developer support and we are wainting for an aswer.

A workaround is to enforce connection to be kept up by using a second application requiring network connection (eg the web browser). So while browsing try to start up your chat client or viceversa. Let us know if this works for you.
